Six Degrees of Separation - This Book Will Save Your Life to Arsenic For Tea

This Book Will Save Your Life by AM Homes was shortlisted for the Richard & Judy Book Club, as was The Devil In The Marshalsea by Antonia Hodgson.
The Devil In The Marshalsea is a stunning historical crime novel with a wonderful central character, as is The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R King.
I bought The Beekeeper's Apprentice after seeing that it was a book loved by my friend Melinda Salisbury, author of The Sin Eater's Daughter.
Getting thrashed at Harry Potter trivia by Mel and some friends inspired me to finally start my long-awaited series reread; I'm about to finish Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by JK Rowling.
And a double connection here - I'm going to finish it while travelling to Cambridge for the launch of Arsenic For Tea by Robin Stevens, a fellow contributor to fantastic collaborative blog MG Strikes Back - which kicked off with a brilliant post from Darren entitled "Hands Off Our Harry Potter" -
