Indie Advent: Andrew from The Pewter Wolf on Just Imagine, Chelmsford

Really pleased to welcome a fab blogger I love reading to the blog today to take part in #IndieAdvent! Over to you, Andrew.

There have been two indie bookshops that have affected my life. One had sadly closed down (Acres of Books - it was the shop that forced a little known book called Harry Potter in my life) and the second is Just Imagine (or, to give its full title, Just Imagine Story Centre), which is in Chelmsford, Essex

Just Imagine is an indie bookshop that focuses on children's books but also throws children's parties and events with authors - a mix of authors for young children up to YA authors and illustrators.

One of the reasons why  I really like visiting this shop is because of the passion the book has for children's literature, and whenever I go in there, I always discover something new and exciting.

Now, which book to buy from Just Imagine for a Christmas present. I would say Guess How Much I Love You Snuggle Book. I have young family members and I would get this as it's beautiful. Perfect for very young babies that can be used as a bib (perfect for teething), easily washable (again, young children can be very messy) and yet, has a beautiful story and illustrations to enchant children and parents alike.  (Though, I would buy so many books for young children - Mog, The Forgetful Cat [Never Goodbye Mog! Even I haven't dared read that! My icy heart would be destroyed if I read that!], The Tiger That Came To Tea, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Room on a Broom, The Gruffalo... Ok, am going to stop now)

Love those recs, Andrew - I wish some of my cousins were younger so I could buy for them!

Check out Just Imagine on their website and on Twitter, and catch up with Andrew's own fab blog, or tweet him!
